Due to a derangement of the muscular balance, the images of the object being thrown upon non-identical points of the retinae.
Double vision which takes place when both eyes concur in the visual act and disappears when one eye is covered or excluded. It results from divergence of the axes caused by some muscular affection, usually a paresis.
