A French aeronaut and chemist; born at Paris, Nov. 21, 1843; died there, August 30, 1899. Besides textbooks of chemistry he wrote for the "Library of Wonders", "Water", "Coal", "Fossils", "Photography"; in collaboration with Glaisher, Flammarion, and Fonvielle, he wrote "Aerial Voyages".

Dopamine Acetyltransferase
- An enzyme that catalyzes the of groups from acetyl-CoA to arylamines. They have wide specificity for aromatic amines, particularly serotonin, and can also catalyze acetyl transfer between arylamines without CoA. EC 2.3.1.5.
