Day-sight, Day-vision, Hen blindness, Night blindness. A disease, in which the eyes enjoy the faculty of seeing, whilst the sun is above the horizon, but are incapable of seeing by the aid of artificial light. Its causes are not evident. The eye, when carefully examined, presents no alteration, either in its membranes or humours.
