(see Granby Token), a private or unauthorized coinage issued in Connecticut by John Higley, of Granby, in 1737. It was made of copper. The obverse bore a deer and a legend, Value Me As You Please, the Roman numerals III. and a crescent; the reverse, three hammers on a triangular field, each bearing a crown; legend, I Am Good Copper.
