Tetra-iodopyrrol, C4I4NH, obtained by treating pyrrol with iodin in a solution of neutral reaction. As an antiseptic and deodorant it is said to have all the value of iodoform without its occasionally toxic effects. It contains 89 per cent, of iodin. [U. S. Ph.] [Lat.]
