A species of lepra or elephantiasis.- Marcellus Empiricus. Malanders or Mallenders, is a disease of the horse, which consists of a scurfy eruption on the inside of the hock, or a little below it, as well as at the bend of the knee. It is called Mallenders in the foreleg, and Sallenders in the hind leg.-Youatt.
